Yesterday was mine and Blair's "last" day, just the two of us. We are picking my mom up later today and she will be with us until the baby is born and for a few days after. Once she leaves, we will still have the baby though and it will never be just the two of us again...scary thought! Since Saturday was our last day we decided to make the best of it and do some fun things. Blair played football in the morning with some guys in our ward while I slept in a little. It was nice to have a relaxing morning, and guess what?! I didn't make a list! Every weekend I have a list of things I need to/want to get done and I decided it wasn't worth it. We just wanted to have fun! Throughout the day we kept saying to each other, "Happy Last Day!!!!" Although we didn't want to focus too much on it being our real last day together, it was a fun reminder to us to enjoy the day and each other.
We got ready then ran to campus to get a few things done. We went out to lunch to Rumbi Island Grill (probably our favorite restaurant). After Rumbi we drove up to Squaw Peak (neither of us had been there before) and looked out over Utah Valley. We got lucky and got there right as a bunch of people we taking off from the mountain to go paragliding. It was so cool to watch! We stayed up there for a little while then went to Bridal Veil Falls where we walked along the path and dipped our feet in the water. It was so fun to be out in the sun and just relaxing with Blair. We went to a movie later, but not before we stopped and got a few treats to snack on.
