Dear Baby,
You are almost considered full-term! The days are just flying by and your Mommy and Daddy can't believe you will be here THIS month! Although your kicks have been less frequent due to the lack of space in Mama's belly, you are constantly moving around like a wiggle worm and pushing on her really hard, especially in the ribs. It seems like you're trying to push your way out sometimes...but you're pushing the wrong place silly goose! Mama is sure that her right ribs are bruised, you just can't stop attacking them! But hopefully all your wiggles and pushes mean that you are going to be really strong!!!
One of your favorite things is when Daddy sings to you. He has such a pretty voice and you and Mommy love when he sings as you guys start to fall asleep. He was so sweet last week and sang to you several times! You are always wiggling around as Mama is getting into bed but on the days that you hear Daddy singing you start to calm down, which is nice for Mommy.
Mama is having some weird dreams again! The other night she dreamt that you weren't born human, but instead were an elephant and she named you Blake!! Not a very comforting dream when she is so close to delivery! Her other dreams haven't been quite as weird as that one, thankfully!
You and your Mama play games when she is at work! When you push on a part of her tummy really hard, she gently pushes back. When you feel her pushing you move and start pushing out somewhere else, then Mama pushes back in that spot. You guys can go on and on like this for several minutes. It reminds your Mama of a game where you try to smash gophers, but they keep popping up out of different holes. She'll take you to play that game when you are old enough. You guys have so much fun together and she is so excited to play with you even more once you're born!
Your Mommy and Daddy are making that last minute preparations for your arrival! Since Daddy put your crib together last week, Mommy washed your sheets and bedding and got your bed ready! Daddy, of course, picked out sports bedding and even Mommy is a big fan of it! Just a few things left to do and they'll be ready, well as ready as they can be. To be honest, they are still a little nervous to be entirely responsible for another human being, but they've heard that the nerves are normal because really, who can ever be entirely prepared for their first child?! But even though they are a little nervous, they are still so excited to meet you! They already love you so much!
