Baby........

I know I never did a 39 week update this past week...things have just been busy as we've been preparing for the baby's arrival. I officially finished work on Friday, which was a bittersweet ending. I have loved my job these past 6 months, but the closer I got to my due date, the more ready I was to be done with work. Blair and I have continued to get ready for the baby to come. We both keep talking to the baby telling him that we are ready for him!

Earlier this week Blair set up the Baby's pack-n-play earlier this week. We didn't want to buy a bassinet because the baby would only fit in it for about a month. My mom was going to buy us a pack-n-play anyway so she let us pick out a nice one that has a little bassinet insert. It has been next to our bed all week and has made us very ready to have our baby in it instead of in my tummy!

For the first time since we've been married, Blair and I switched sides of the bed! This was a major change because we were so used to our side. We decided to switch so I could sleep next to the baby to begin with it. The transition was weird, but it wasn't too hard, it just hasn't been easy to have the pack-n-play next to me...empty. We are pretty anxious to have this baby here!

I finally put some decorations on the walls of the baby's room this week too! On one wall I put a fun sports cork board frame that I made and some vinyl sports stickers. They look great above and around the crib, which is also all sports (I didn't have much of an option having Blair for a husband). One the other wall I put a few frames. My sister gave me a super cute picture frame that says "I am a Child of God." That is in the middle of the wall with a framed picture of the temple on one side and a framed picture of Christ on the other side. We really only have two walls to decorate because one has the closet and another has the window. Between the decorations being put up and the pack-n-play being set up, we are just playing the waiting game. I have finished my entire list of things I wanted to do before the baby came.

Please come soon baby!!!
