Baby Week 32

Dear Baby,

Your parents love you so so so much! They can't wait for you to come so they can look at you and hold you tightly. Your Mama, however, will be sad to have to share you with others...she has loved having you to herself these past 32 weeks! You continue to amaze her with your movements and kicks, even though every once in a while you kick her hard in the ribs. Although pregnancy has brought on a lot of changes and isn't always fun, she has loved it! She finds is easy to overlook the sleepless nights, heartburn, and big belly when she feels your gymnastic-like movements, watches her belly jump with your hiccups, and hears your heartbeat at her doctor appointments. She is amazed at how she already loves you unconditionally and how she already feels like she knows you. Your parents can't believe that you will be joining them in less than 2 months (8 weeks from yesterday)!!!!!!!!!

Daddy is so excited for your arrival! He has never been a "chatty" person but every so often he starts talking about you and how excited he is and he just can't stop. Mommy loves when that happens. You had some serious hiccups earlier this week as Mama was getting ready for bed and Daddy was in awe at her jumping tummy. He said he definitely couldn't be able to sleep with something moving around in his tummy like that! You have always been very active in the late evenings as Mommy tries to sleep and she has finally started getting used to it.

You had a doctors appointment earlier this week; it was just a routine check up. Mama did get in a little bit of trouble though. The doctor asked her how much she rests during the day, not counting sleeping at nights. Mommy had to admit that she doesn't consistently rest at all and Daddy rolled his eyes because he has been trying to get her to relax more and she can't stand it. She loves to get home from work and start doing things around the house and she makes herself a "To-Do" list EVERY day! The doctor told her that she needs to cut some things out and take some time to rest. He said that rest would help reduce swelling in her feet and help her feel better (she has had a cold this week that is most likely due to a lack of relaxation and rest). Besides that though, your appointment went great! Your parents never tire of hearing the precious little "whoosh whoosh whoosh" of your heart beat!

You and Mama still love peanut butter and chocolate! Your Mama introduced you to scotcheroos a few weeks ago and you both couldn't get enough! There isn't anything specific right now that makes you sick, which makes Mommy so happy!!!

Last week you and Mommy went on a little trip to Oregon to visit Grammy Olsen, Auntie Emily, Uncle Shaun, Uncle Scott, and Maisey and Gage! One of the main purposes of the trip was to let Daddy focus on his MCAT studying without having distractions (Mommy is a pretty big distraction some times). You guys had tons of fun! Auntie Emily threw your Mama a baby shower when she was home and you got several nice things and fun clothes! Daddy was shocked at all the things you got when Mommy showed him when she got back to Utah. He said you are already one spoiled baby and you haven't even been born yet! You are so lucky to have so many people who already love and care about you!

This was taken last week on Easter Sunday at 31 weeks pregnant (I just forgot to upload it last week).
