Every morning when your Mama gets to work she waits patiently for her play date. She sits down and works for a few minutes before it starts. Her special play dates are with you and you always show up at about 8:15...you're so punctual already! You entertain her with you kickboxing, flips and strong soccer kicks. When you aren't kicking her ribs with great intensity you have your fingers and toes wrapped around them, tickling Mama as much as you can. You are already so much like your Daddy, tickling Mommy whenever you can. Mama can't wait until you can come outside for your play dates though! If you are already this fun and entertaining, you are sure to put on quite the show in a few short weeks. Your Mama has loved having you to herself these past few months and isn't thrilled about the idea of having to share you. She feels like she has already gotten to know you so well! However, she is still very excited for you to make your appearance!
Daddy takes his big test tomorrow and everyone will be so excited when it's done. He and Mommy have taken several walks around their neighborhood to help him relax between all his studying. He has been working so hard for you...you'd be so proud! When they go on their walks they love talking about you! Mommy thinks Daddy sometimes forgets how much work you'll be because he is constantly saying how excited he is to play with you and have a little friend. Although those things will be really fun, there will be a lot more to it than playing around! Now that Daddy will have more time, your parents are going to finish the preparations for your arrival. They have a list of odds and ends that they still need and one major thing (your crib) and are excited to start crossing off some of those things.
You will probably be born with a strong love for sweets, specifically chocolate. You and your Mama just can't get enough! Last night you were both NEEDING something sweet, but there were NO sweets in the house. Thankfully, Mama found a bag of chocolate chips that was about half-full. You snacked on those until Daddy took them away. Mommy has tried to be good with her intake of sweets, but she still enjoys them quite often. At every doctor's appointment when she gets weighed she is always surprised to find that she is still right on track for average weight gain. She uses you and the pregnancy as excuses for her sweets cravings, but everyone knows she has always been big on sweets. Hopefully she can control her craving more once you come so she can loose her baby weight quicker.
Mama had a doctor's appointment yesterday and the doctor said everything looked great! You are measuring perfectly and Mama is doing well too. Your heart is beating so strong that Daddy can even hear it when he puts his ear on Mama's belly! You have another appointment in about two weeks and after that you'll have to start going every week until you finally arrive! Your parents can't believe the time is coming so fast! It seems like just a month or two ago that Mama surprised Daddy with the wonderful news and now you are just over a month away from gracing them with your presence.
Wish Daddy luck tomorrow as he takes his test!!! You can help him celebrate afterward!
It's kind of hard to see how big my belly is in these pictures with my black shirt but I didn't realize that until I was taking them off of my camera. I'll get better ones for next week.
