BYU Football

Yes, this post is way overdue! I was looking though my list of blogs I've written and I saw that there were several I had written, but hadn't posted yet. This was the one that was longest ago...it is from October. I had all the pictures already put up here but hadn't posted anything, so I thought I would do a quick catch up and post a few old ones now.

This past BYU football season was wonderful...kind of. As everyone knows, the team didn't do great, but I loved it so much because I actually got to sit with Blair this year! Last season Blair was an athletic trainer for the team so he was on the field with them every game and traveled with them too. I had to watch all the games without him that season, so this was so much better!

On a Friday before a home game Saturday, there were some games going on around campus. This was one of them. You had to stand behind a certain line and throw a football through the hoop in the tunnel (it's hard to see, but if you look closely you can see the hoop). No, I don't know the kid in the picture but after Blair and I both played I had to take a picture to brag a little. Blair was so embarrassed but I got my football through the hoop and he didn't! Yes, the girls line was about 3 or 4 feet closer than the boys, but still, I made it! I won a t-shirt and to make Blair feel better I got one in his size for him to have (he needed a new one anyway, and I didn't really). Blair was embarrassed that his wife had to win him a t-shirt, but he still loved it anyway.

I couldn't help but take a picture of this...a BYU football snuggie! It was awesome! Blair thought I was a dork for taking a picture of this random girl that neither of us knew, but hey, I had never seen a BYU snuggie before and I couldn't pass it up!

I know you can't really see anything in this picture, but the sunset was just so pretty during one game that I couldn't help but snap a shot.

This was probably our last season going to all the football games. We aren't students anymore so it is super expensive to buy an all-sports pass now, and we'll have the baby this fall and who knows how taking a new born to a football game would turn out. Blair already said that he wants to take his son to at least one football game and one basketball game this year. Hopefully we can make it to more than just one if the baby does okay, but if not, thankfully we will have access to all the football games on TV now!
