So the other part of our trip before school started was going to Zions. Neither Blair nor I had ever gone before, but had heard such great things. We decided we'd go there for a day on our way back from St. George. We LOVED it! It was so awesome! We went on a few different short hikes because we didn't have time to do the bigger ones, but we are definitely going to go back sometime to do the bigger and harder ones. It was really hot out and there were a ton of people there, but we still have a blast! We love to do things like this together! Here are some cool pictures:

Yeah, I know I'm so much like my mom...I don't just take picture of people, but I take pictures of the scenery. When I look back at my moms picture box now I wonder what she was thinking when she was taking all these pictures of trees and things, but now I understand that when you're in a place so pretty like this, you just can't help it.
After we stopped and ate lunch I just walked and looked around in complete awe.
Blair snapped a picture when I was deep in thought.
And when we were eating I found a new best friend! I didn't want to touch it because on the bus there was a picture of someone with a huge wound from a squirrel bite and it freaked me out. But I made Blair take a picture of me with my hand out to show how close it was.

And this time I caught Blair deep in thought. He looked so cute sitting there
pondering and looking at the beautiful scenery.

The day was great! It was fun to have this new experience together! The one thing that was so NOT fun was when we were on the bus going to a different spot one time, a little boy threw up over the ENTIRE floor! The parents had three kids and I felt so bad for them trying to take care of them all in a small, hot bus, then when their son got sick, they had even more to handle. Poor kid! Blair and I got off the bus with everyone else and waited for the next one.
At the end of our day of hiking we went to the big theatre screen that is under ground. It's the largest in Utah and one of the largest in the world measuring 60 feet high and 82 feet across. Sound is delivered through an eight track digital Surround Sound system capable of 22,000 watts. AWESOME! We watched a movie about sea dinosaurs and it was in 3D. They had to build the screen underground because they weren't allowed to make one that big above since it would block views and ruin the natural environment.
