I love Oregon and no matter where I live I will always be an Oregon Girl at heart! I think I've converted Blair to be an Oregon lover too. Although we've seen my family from Oregon quite a bit this summer, we hadn't been home since Christmas last year. I found some decent priced flights so during our 2 week break from school we took off to our favorite state!!! The trip was full of games, wii, shopping, eating, and FUN! We were only there for 5 days, but each day was packed full of fun family time. We had three big things that we did: the zoo, Silver Creek Falls and the beach. I didn't have my camera at the zoo though :(
Mom, Scott, Blair and I went to Silver Creek Falls and hiked around a little bit and visited the water falls. Because it was later in the summer there wasn't too much water falling, but it was still pretty.

Our other adventure: the beach! There were lots of things to bring from the car to our beach spot so Blair and I took one trip down and as he was going to set up the things I headed back to help mom with her load. When I spot her I see Mais bawling because she doesn't like the feel of the sand on her feet. Mais made mom put Gage down to walk on his own so she could be held...what a goof ball! So I ran to grab Gage as he kept tripping and falling. Mais finally warmed up to the sand...thank goodness...it wouldn't have been very fun to hold her the whole time.
Blair is such a little kid when he gets excited! Growing up in Eastern Idaho Blair never visited the beach and the only two times I had taken him, it was freezing cold and raining so we didn't even play in the sand and water. He had so much fun playing with all the little kids and building them sand castles to destroy.
