White Coat Ceremony

A few weeks ago we went to Blair's White Coat Ceremony, which is considered the "Rite of Passage" for medical school students. It was great to see Blair with his fellow classmates, and see him in his new white coat...he looked GOOD! This ceremony is really more of a congratulations for making it this far and getting into medical school. There are still 4 long years ahead.

Putting on his coat at the beginning of the ceremony.

Lookin' Good! Doesn't his coat make him look so much like a doctor already?!

program at BYU together and both ended up at DMU!

A friend in our ward offered to watch Brock during the ceremony since he is a CRAZY boy and doesn't ever sit still! I sat next to a bunch of other girls in the ward and I was the only one that didn't bring my son! Does that make me a bad mom?! I don't know, but I can say that I actually got to enjoy the ceremony in peace!

Family photo at home. Brock was out of smiles and ready for a nap by this time.

Now that this ceremony is over, here is to 4 years endless studying and tests for Blair, and of being a single mom for me, until the next ceremony...graduation! That's the one we are really looking forward to!
