I have only 6 weeks left until Baby #2's due date. I have bought 1 box of newborn diapers, and that is the extent to which I have gotten ready for this baby. This is way different that when I was pregnant with Brock. By this time last pregnancy, I had everything ready, except maybe a few decorations on the walls of his room.
I don't know why this one has been so different. Is it because I am more busy trying to keep up with Brock? Or that I have been so busy with the move and unpacking that I haven't thought about it much? Is it that this pregnancy was so unexpected that sometimes I'm still in shock that the due date is approaching so quickly? Or is it just that we already have a lot of the things we need from Brock, and we just need to unpack them rather than buy them? (I think we only need to buy a new car seat and a double stroller this time).
I don't know exactly why I feel so unprepared this time, but I do know that 6 weeks is not a lot of time! And considering I don't complete things very fast with my little helper around, I better get working to prepare for my next little helper's debut.
