Medical School Update

Blair has had 8 interview offers at medical school throughout the country. He has gone to four of them so far. We haven't heard from two of them yet, but the two we did hear from gave us GREAT news! Blair has been accepted into 2 schools! He will probably only go to 1 more interview, then cancel the last 3.

We are thrilled that he has already gotten into two schools, and he will probably get into one or two more. Getting the first acceptance was amazing! Blair and I both teared up because we were so excited. Getting the second acceptance was almost as exciting as the first because it meant we had a choice! It is a huge weight off our shoulders to know he will be going somewhere, now we just need to decide where. There are so many things to take into account as we make this decision, but a decision has to be made! We are hoping that we can have our final decision made by around Thanksgiving time...but we'll see.

Blair is just so encouraged right now because he can see that all of his hard work the past few years have really paid off. There is still a lot of work to be done, but this is one HUGE milestone that he has accomplished! He is really going to be a doctor!!!!!  YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
