Good Friends are Priceless

Today was not the best day ever...it was full of tests and unneeded stress. Luckily one of my very best friends came to my rescue!!! The speedometer in our car hasn't been working for about a week so we figured we'd better get it fixed before we drive to Denver tomorrow night! I took it into the Dodge dealership this morning at 10 thinking it wouldn't take too long. Well, I had a final at 11 and they said I'd have to leave the car there for a few hours. Ugh! There was NO way I was going to walk to campus, but I didn't know what I was going to do. Well, randomly the thought came into my head to call Syd!! Oh my goodness, she saved my life! She was more than willing to pick me up and again was willing when I asked her if she'd be able to take me back this afternoon. What a good friend! She didn't even hesitate to say yes! There were a few complications with the car and like I said, a lot of unneeded stress, but it's over now and $110 dollars later have the car fixed and working perfectly!!

Syd was one of the best roommates I've had and now she is still one of my best friends! In the midst of her own finals to prepare for, work, planning a wedding, and getting a few things ready for her grandpa's birthday tonight, she was my superhero and rescued me! Thanks Syd! Our baby is going to LOVE Auntie Syd! (And Uncle Jordan) It's really nice to have good friends to count on!
