Those Days

Yesterday was one of those days where I was unstoppable! All these things on my list got done:
-Do and fold 4 loads of laundry
-Vacuum downstairs
-Sweep kitchen
-Mop kitchen
-Fill out and mail a few forms
-Put more decorations up
-Exercise
-Take out garbage
-Make cookies

There were a few other things, but I already can't remember. Between the things on my list, Brock still got fed, played with, and had plenty of attention. He had a wonderful day and had two great naps, allowing me to complete my list! After getting all those things done, Blair even came home to a nice hot meal for dinner after school. It was a great day.

Today has been the complete opposite! Brock had been the biggest stinker he's been in a while. I couldn't stand being home with him any longer that I got out our swimming suits and took him to the pool. That usually wears him out, and I was praying for that. He usually loves the pool but today didn't even want to play in the water! Instead he wanted to run around the outside of the pool, playing in the dirt and rocks.
I finally stopped trying to get him in the water and let him do what he wanted...hey at least he was finally happy.

I will admit, days like today are very rare. Brock is such a good kid and makes my job as a mom pretty easy! I guess it is important for me to have a day like this with him every once in a while so I can cherish all the good days in between.

He is finally napping right now and I just got up from a short catnap too. I made myself another list for today and not one thing is crossed off. I guess this is just one of those days I need to toss out the window and hope for a better day tomorrow.
