An Answer!

I never posted an update on Baby #2's gender...it's another BOY! Everyone knows that by now, but I still thought it necessary to post it. I am so excited to have another boy. They will be only 16 months apart (yeah, what were we thinking?!) so hopefully they will grow up being the best of friends.

I am eating my words from last February though...I think I jinxed us! This post was what I wrote when I found out Brock was a boy. I wrote a letter to Brock telling him how excited I was for him to come and these are my exact words from that post:

"Mommy is excited to have a boy first too, but she just hopes she doesn't have two boys in a row. She's nervous that if you have a brother too close in age to you, you boys will be too mischievous and gang up on her, just like your Daddy and Uncle Brycy did to Grammy Rhodehouse."

Yeah, I definitely jinxed us! Brock and Baby #2 will be even closer in age than Blair and Bryce are, and Brock is already a huge handful himself. He is a ball of energy and very mischievous, although very sweet too. Regardless of how nervous I am to have them so close together, I am very excited! It will definitely be hard at times, but I'll just have to think of it as another new and crazy adventure for us!
