Geocaching Adventure

Blair and I went geocaching for the first time a few weeks ago! We had heard so much about it, but had never been able to go, and even if we tried just the two of us, I don't think we would have been able to figure it out! Luckily, some of our best friends, Syd and Jordan, invited us to go with them (and they are practically experts at it!) and now we are in love with it! I felt like we were hunting for hidden treasures!

 

I found the first one and I was so proud of myself!

Jordan is super good at this (he even has a name to sign the papers with!) and did all the preparation for our little adventure.

I had tons of fun just looking at Syd and Jordan's jar of "swag" (the fun little toys that we put into the geocaches)

Blair was really getting into it too! It was a fun way for him to get dirty like boys are supposed to. ( I on the other hand didn't climb through bushes, I left those ones to the boys)

We loved our fun adventure!

Like I said, the boys were really into it! It was so funny to watch them crawl along the grass together!

Jackpot! We found one that had big bags of "goodies" to take and enjoy!

We stopped at a little park on the way home and wanted a picture in front of this pretty fountain...to bad you can't even see it in the picture. :)

We went back to Syd and Jordan's place for a movie and dessert and this is the masterpiece Syd made...yummy jam and powdered sugar cupcakes!

We loved this new adventure and now are official treasure hunters, and don't worry, we didn't let any muggles see us! Next time maybe we'll actually try to do some harder ones....maybe...this was still pretty hard for me. For those of you who are pros at this, don't judge me...I'm still learning! Thanks to our wonderful friends for teaching us and having tons of fun with us!!!!
